Peer Health Education
The Peer Health Education program exists within the UTM Health & Counselling Centre to promote the overall health and wellness of the UTM community by increasing knowledge of a variety of issues relevant to the student population.
Peer Health Educators work with the HCC's Health Promotion staff to provide educational opportunities that inform and empower students to make healthier choices that support academic success and personal resiliency.
In the 2016-17 academic year, the Peer Health Education Program will focus education in the following areas:
- Mental Health
- Drugs & Alcohol
- MoveU (Active Living)
- Leave The Pack Behind
Visit our Team Page for more information about the work of these 5 teams.
