Overview of energy at UTM

UTM has been in a state of constant growth since approximately 2002.  The addition of more faculty, staff, students, and built space has meant that energy use has risen.  However, a multitude of projects have been undertaken to reduce UTM's energy use, upgrade older buildings on campus, and ensure that our operations are as efficient as possible.  To learn more about these projects, see the Energy Projects page.

The people who are ultimately responsible for energy use on campus are the end-users: students, faculty, and staff. The best, most efficient, and most cost-effective way to reduce energy consumption on campus is to use it wisely.
