    2. Academic Affairs Committee: Report of January 18, 2010 -Prof. Angela Lange

      Institute of Communication and Culture Renewal - Professor Gage Averill, Vice-Principal Academic and Dean For approval

      Be It Resolved,
      THAT
      1. The Institute of Communication and Culture (ICC) at the University of Toronto Mississauga be disestablished and that there be established in its place a new Department of Visual Studies and a new Institute of Communication, Culture, and Information Technology (EDU:A), effective July 1, 2010, as detailed in the attached Proposal;
        and THAT
         
      1. Biomedical Communications (BMC) be relocated to the Department of Biology at the University of Toronto Mississauga, effective July 1, 2010.
