Biography

Lee has been a member of the UTM community for 30 years. He worked as a tutorial leader at Erindale College from 1986 to 1992 and began teaching his own courses in 1993. He has worked continuously since that date and was appointed as a Lecturer in 2002 and Senior Lecturer in 2008. He has taught more than 150 courses; mostly large enrolment, multi-section, full-year courses. He specializes in scaling-up small-group, active-learning methods. Lee is an active participant of UTM teaching community. He is a frequent presenter at teaching symposia.

Lee is also active in the governance process at UTM. He has served two terms as Chair of the Resource Priorities and Planning Committee.  Lee previous governance terms include membership on the Campus Affairs Committee and UTM Campus Council. Mr. Bailey was first elected in 2014 and will begin his second term as a member of UTM Campus Council, which ends on June 30, 2016.
