Environmental Datasets
The Environmental Datasets represent 3 distinct environment settings here on the UTMississauga campus. The data are separated into POND data, FIELD data and FOREST data. Data are collected at these sites using HOBO U30 data loggers equipped with sensors monitoring soil moisture, soil temperature, air temperature and relative humidity. Photos of the 3 sites are shown here. Data are collected hourly and downloaded monthly.
They are available in two formats - .DTF format and .XLS format.
Downloading the .DTF files will allow the user to use Hoboware software, the software dedicated to the U30 data loggers.
Downloading the .XLS format will allow the user to use MS Excel spreadsheet software.
