Forensic Biology/Biochemistry Lecturer, Forensic Science Program  



The Forensic Science Program at the University of Toronto Mississauga invites applications for a full-time two-year appointment at the rank of Lecturer effective July 1, 2011. Applicants must demonstrate a strong motivation to pursue effective evidence-based and innovative approaches to teaching forensic science at the university level.  Applicants must have evidence of excellence in teaching and a Ph.D. degree with emphasis in forensic molecular anthropology, forensic biology, or forensic biochemistry.  In addition to teaching the introductory forensic science course, the position will involve teaching a lab-based forensic DNA course, and a variety of upper level courses dependent upon expertise.  In addition, the successful candidate will participate in the process of assisting the program to achieve accreditation through the Forensic Science Education Programs Accreditation Commission.   Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
