Please note that the University of Toronto Mississauga will be closed for the Labour Day holiday on Monday, Sept. 3, 2018. The university will reopen and resume regular hours of operation on Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2018.

Temporary Road Closures and Interruptions to bus service

On Saturday, Sept. 1, 2018, the North and Middle entrances to campus will be closed and Residence Road will be designated one way from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for residence move-in activities. Please enter campus at the Collegeway (South) Entrance. MiWay bus service will not enter campus during this time.

U of T Mississauga Campus Police

Campus Police Services is located in Room 3116 of the William G. Davis Building.

The U of T Mississauga Campus Police will be on duty 24 hours a day during the closing. They can be reached at 905-828-5200 for general help or at 905-569-4333 in emergency situations.

Parking and Transportation

The Parking Office will be closed on Monday, Sept. 3, 2018. and will resume regular hours of operation at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2018.

Hazel McCallion Academic Learning Centre

The HMALC will be closed from Saturday, Sept. 1 to Monday, Sept. 3, 2018, inclusive, and will resume regular hours on Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2018. For detailed information on the Library’s hours, please visit http://library.utm.utoronto.ca/hours.

Recreation, Athletics & Wellness Centre

The RAWC will be closed on Monday, Sept. 3, 2018. Regular hours resume on Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2018. More information about facility hours is available at: http://www.utm.utoronto.ca/athletics/about-us/facility-hours

Residence

UTM Student Housing & Residence Life provides restricted access to students who are contracted with the department to stay on campus during the holiday closure. These students have been provided with guidelines and contact information to report maintenance and safety concerns. 

Information & Instructional Technology Services (I&ITS)

I&ITS will be closed for the long weekend. Service Desk e-mail and voice-mail will not be monitored during this period. Critical services such as UTM website and internet connection to UT St. George will be maintained. Regular hours resume on Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2018.

I&ITS recommends that everyone unplug computers, printers and other electronic devices over the holidays. This will help to save energy and will prevent damage in the event of a power surge or cut.

Bookstore

The UTM Bookstore will be closed on Monday, Sept. 3, 2018. Regular hours resume on Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2018.
