Facilities Management & Planning is an administrative unit responsible for construction; renovation; and maintenance of the physical fabric comprising UTM campus.

Main responsibilities include the following:

  • Maintain and manage the campus buildings, manage and maintain campus Infrastructure
  • Ensure the building code and safety code compliance
  • Conduct space and facility planning
  • Manage construction and renovation projects
  • Provide a sustainable working environment
  • Support recycling
  • Provide campus access key and keycard services
  • Provide custodial services
  • Manage receiving, shipping and stores
