UTM Alumnus, Joanna West, featured by the APGO as a Geologist in Training
Read about the excitement of becoming a GIT (Geologist in Training) with the APGO (Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario) from Joanna West. A recent graduate, Joanna earned her Geology Specialist degree through CPS in 2014, receiving both the Moore Award in Geology from UTM and the Isabel and Tuzo Wilson Scholarship from U of T St. George. She worked as a teaching assistant for ERS203 last winter and is now working for Mining Matters’ Aboriginal Education and Outreach Program. What a great example of success… congratulations Joanna!
