The University of Toronto Mississauga campus is situated in a park-like setting on the Credit River where it is well-served by local public transit and is conveniently located near major highways. Toronto, Mississauga's next-door neighbour and Canada's world-renowned cultural capital, is about a half-hour commute.
While modestly sized, UTM's tree-lined campus of UTM has undergone a building boom over the last several years, with the addition of new teaching, research, library, residence and athletic facilities. This expansion will continue, with plans for an Academy of Medicine, and for a Student Services Plaza, both scheduled to open in the next few years.

Students enrolled at UTM enjoy access to a host of services including academic skills training, library resources, health, wellness, athletics and counselling services, career and employment services, food services, multifaith programs, and family care services. In addition, virtually the entire campus is covered by a wireless network for internet access.
