Advantage Mississauga (AM) is a new organization that is working with local employers to secure short term projects that students can apply for in order to gain good working experience.
UTM students and recent graduates (two years from convocation) must participate in approximately 5.5 hours of professional preparation at the Career Centre in order to be able to apply for AM projects. If you have not yet done so, please book a one hour appointment at the

Hours of operation:
Monday-Thursday from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m.
Fridays from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. and 1–4 p.m.)
There are currently several AM projects available, and more will be available on a continual basis. Once you have completed the preparation, please email careers.utm@utoronto.ca indicating which AM opportunities you would like to apply to, and the application details will be sent to you.
Positions will be paid, and will vary in time commitments, but generally will be approximately 25-40 hours in length. The timeframe for completion of the projects will be arranged with each employer.
