Identification of Heat Shock Factor 1 Molecular and Cellular Targets during Embyronnic and Adult Female Meiosis
Zak Razak and Kaiguo Mo (Westwood lab) recently published their paper in Molecular and Cellular Biology. In this paper they show that HSF1 has wide ranging effects on regulation of genes involved in meiosis, which may explain frequently observed meiotic anomalies in humans.
