Drug development risk in HIV-1 clinical trials: the effect of drug class

This week we recognize the success of Brendan Osborne, a recent graduate of the M. Biotech programme.

Brendan recently published his paper in Journal of Pharmaceutical Health Services Research. This paper was based on a project he did under Jayson Parker’s supervision. In this project Brendan examined the factors that affect the success and failure of developing drugs to treat Human Immuno deficiency Virus-1 (HIV). He is now continuing his research on HIV while doing a Ph.D. in the Institute of Medicine Science at University of Toronto.

Congratulations on the publication of this exciting research, Brendan and MBiotech!
