Facilitated Study Groups

facilitated study group text on colourful backgroundThe UTM Anthropology Society in collaboration with the Robert Gillespie Academic Skills Centre (RGASC) presents Facilitated Study Group sessions for UTM Anthropology undergraduate students.  These sessions provide students with the opportunity to:

  • Compare study notes
  • Clarify course concepts
  • Develop study methods
  • Study for tests and assignments

"Research has shown that students who regularly use these study groups are not only able to process their study material two to three times faster than students who study alone, but they also often earn higher final course marks than students who do not attend." -- from RGASC Facilitated Study Groups page.
