Hana Tariq (BSc 2004)

Lawyer, Bisceglia & Associates Professional Corporation

Hana Tariq received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto at Mississauga in 2004, where she graduated with High Distinction and was named class valedictorian. Her time as a workstudy student at UTM allowed her to forge relationships with alumni, many of whom she is still in contact with today.

Tariq obtained a Bachelor of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2008, and was called to the Bar in 2009. She practices in all areas of civil litigation and construction law, including contract disputes, business relationship disputes, lien claims, breach of trust, delay claims and general commercial litigation matters. Tariq has experience representing clients at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, as well as various administrative tribunals.

In her spare time, she enjoys painting and travelling.

For over a decade, Tariq has been part of an annual holiday meet-up to reminisce with the friends she met during her time at UTM.
