Gabriella Fermo is Chief Excellence Officer at Raising The Bar. Fermo offers workplace learning, coaching and consulting solutions that enable leaders, individuals, and teams to find meaning in their work, enhance leadership skills, and manage change. Fermo also teaches post-graduate human resources related courses leading to the CHRP / CHRL designations.

Previously, Fermo held roles as a change management practitioner, human resources leader, and learning and organizational development consultant. She acquired corporate and consulting experience with some of North America’s most progressive companies, including two Top 50 Employers and a big four consulting firm. Fermo’s relevant, real-world experience deepens her understanding of the business issues and challenges that clients face everyday and aids in developing optimal solutions.

Fermo’s degree in Industrial Relations and Psychology is complemented with several industry certifications including: Prosci® Certified Change Management Professional, Langevin Master Trainer, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) Qualified Practitioner, and a Blackboard Clinic for On-Line Teaching Certificate. Fermo has also earned the Certified Human Resources Leader designation (CHRL), and has completed numerous years of coursework in continuing education studies.

Fermo has fond memories of her days at U of T Mississauga where she actively participated in academics, athletics and student life. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Relations and Psychology with distinction and was privileged to receive the Student Endowment Award and the ECARA Athletics Award. Fermo is grateful for UTM's Career Centre services which were instrumental in helping her land a pivotal role in the change management practice of Accenture, one of the world's leading professional services firms.
