Anjeza Rexha (HBA 2013)

Graduate Program Coordinator, Master of Biomedical Communications, University of Toronto Mississauga

Anjeza Rexha graduated from U of T Mississauga in 2013 with high distinction for her Honours Bachelor of Arts and specializing in French and Italian.

As a native Albanian who has lived and studied in four countries, Rexha has experienced firsthand that there is more to a language than the ability to speak it. There are always cultures and traditions that accompany it.

Rexha's contributions have been recognized with a number of awards, including the City of Toronto International Students Award, the Principal’s Involvement Award at UTM, the Gordon Cressy Award, among others. Her involvement within the university provided her with significant learning experiences and opportunities to give back through the nearly half a dozen research projects at UTM, York University and Curriculum Services Canada; as well as through her involvement with the Advancement Office for the Boundless Campaign at the University of Toronto Mississauga.

Rexha previously worked with the Master of Management and Professional Accounting program as the marketing liasion officer, and was part of the Institute for Management & Innovation (IMI) team at UTM, since January 2015, as a program assistant and then as a program coordinator, for the Master of Biotechnology Program. Prior to joining IMI, she was the program assistant at the Rotman School of Management, executive MBA programs.
