What is the Summer Academic Skills Institute (S.A.S.I.)?
S.A.S.I. is a comprehensive learning skills program for all UTM students with disabilities. This FREE program will provide students with the opportunity to develop the requisite skills and knowledge for their upcoming courses.  

Interactive sessions include:

•    building an effective study plan
•    meeting with a faculty member and participating in a lecture
•    building and connecting course-related skills (reading, lecture listening, study notes)
•    finding study spaces and resources on campus
•    balancing your academics and well-being


How do I sign up for S.A.S.I.?
You are required to register with AccessAbility Services to enrol in this program.  Please schedule an appointment with an AccessAbility Advisor by calling 905-569-4699, emailing access.utm@utoronto.ca, or dropping by the main office (room 2037 Davis Building). 

Do I need to provide medical documentation?
Yes - students must provide a recent medical certificate or psycho-educational assessment completed by a medical specialist/professional to register with the Centre. Please provide your medical documentation to your AccessAbility Advisor.
