Student SocietiesAcademic Societies The student organizations noted above successfully completed an application for campus recognition through the university's Ulife website. If you are looking for a group that isn't listed:
1. It may not exist yet; or
2. It may be based on U of T's downtown (St. George) or Scarborough campus rather than at U of T Mississauga; or
3. It may be a club under UTMSU that hasn't yet sought campus recognition through the university's Ulife website.
Groups are easy to form around almost any interest. Groups typically apply or renew their application for campus recognition once each year through the university Ulife website, and in doing so receive the benefits of recognition through the following September. Most groups apply for campus recognition and UTMSU recognition at around the same time, so that they gain the benefits that each recognition offers.
